Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in any MusicPlayground Event Services request (Rookie, Player, or Maestro tier) and any MusicPlayground venue booking (The Garage, Tigullio).

1. Scope & Agreement

By participating in any MusicPlayground Event or booking a MusicPlayground venue, all artists, performers, and organizers ("Participants") agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Tier Structure

Rookie Tier: To participate in lineups within MP-curated events for emerging artists. Get experience playing alongside established acts. No rental fees. MP handles all marketing and production. Bookings in Rookie Tier are always subject to waitlist.

Player Tier: Co-organized events with discounted venue and equipment rental. Shared planning and marketing.

Maestro Tier: Fully independent events organized by the artist or promoter, with full venue and equipment rental fees.

3. Revenue & Payments

Ticket Sales:

• Rookie: 100% retained by MP (artists receive a flat rate per performer).
• Player: 50/50 split between MP and participating artists or organizers.
• Maestro: 100% retained by the artist or organizer.

Bar Sales: 100% retained by the venue for all events.

Payments to artists will be made within 14 business days following the event.

Venue & PA reservation (where applicable) must be paid upon event confirmation.

4. Equipment & Venue Use

MP provides standard backline for Rookie events; additional or special equipment may incur extra fees.

For Player and Maestro events, venue and equipment rentals are subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking.

Participants are responsible for any damage to MP property, equipment, or facilities during use.

5. Marketing & Promotion

Rookie & Player events are marketed by MP by default, however bands are also encouraged to run their own marketing campaigns.

Maestro events require participants to lead their own promotion, while MP may provide optional paid marketing support upon request.

By participating, artists grant MP permission to use names, images, and event footage for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the event date.

Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is initiated by MP or the venue.

MP reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to safety, venue, or regulatory reasons.

7. Conduct & Liability

All participants must maintain professional conduct and comply with venue and safety regulations.

MP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal equipment or belongings.

MP may refuse participation or remove any individual violating venue rules, safety, or behavioural standards.

8. Event Approval & Compliance

Player and Maestro events must be approved by MP before promotion or ticket sales.

Maestro events require submission of an official Event Proposal Form for review and quotation — the Event Services request form serves as this Proposal Form.

Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local laws and venue policies.

Booked Acts should ensure that they do not perform in any other event within 2 weeks prior to an event booked with MusicPlayground.

9. Media & Recording

MP may film, photograph, or record events for internal and promotional use.

Artists may record their own sets unless it interferes with venue operations.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Malta.

MusicPlayground ("MP") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

11. Acceptance

By booking a slot, confirming an event, or performing at any MusicPlayground event, the participant acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.

MusicPlayground aims to facilitate growth to the local live music scene to flourish into its full potential and beyond.
